The child care advisory council was formed by the NH State Legislature. We have specific membership criteria and activities that are governed by our by-laws.

The CCAC readily acknowledges that child care workers have been underappreciated and underpaid for decades. We work with state and federal leaders to improve the economic security of the child care workforce.

The child care advisory council partners with agencies throughout the state, but our main focus is reaching out to providers so that we can understand what is happening at the "ground level". The information we gather throughout those meetings with providers helps to guide our work and discussions with state leaders.

Although the voting membership is limited by our by-laws. Our meetings are always open to the public, where the chat and opportunities for comment are welcome.
